How We Work

We make stained glass to fit, anywhere that glass goes:

• Doors, Porches, Fanlights and Sidelights
• Fanlights in Zinc, Leaded or Painted glass
• Interiors Glass for Transoms and Privacy Screens
• Lighted Panels for Lightbox Display on walls
• Conservatories, Stairways and Skylights

This large range of products are all created in collaboration with the client, built for your specific location and personal tastes.

The process starts with a conversation. Each work is unique to the home or business it is created for. Initial discussions lead to an agreement on budget, design and schedule. The location is measured for an exact fit for the template. Back at the studio the design is drawn, and shown to the client for approval. At this point the glass colour selection, or sketches for painted glass, are given a final approval. The work is then put on the table for the cutting of the glass, leading, and if required painting, etching and firing. Finally the work is soldered, cemented and brushed down. The finished product is brought to the site and fitted. The studio is often busy with several projects in queue - to keep the wait to a minumum contact us today.

The Custom Design Process

Many clients come in with the kernal of an idea that is turned into a creative custom work in a collaborative design process with the studio.

For example, a client might walk into the studio carrying a grape leaf, looking for stained glass for a window that overlooks a lovely grape arbor in the garden. We will discuss options, ranging from a simple stained glass border design with carefully selected colours that complement the view, to an artfully painted grape leaf motif, creating the illusion of the grape vine growing into the living space. We work with you to design a unique window that fits your individual style.

Pricing

Our prices are discussed as part of the planning of your project. We can modify designs to fit your budget, as the pricing depends on the complexity of the design and size of the project. Prices can range from €100 - €800 a square foot. A deposit of 30% is required upon the start of work, with the total due at the time of installation. All work is gauranteed, the Studio takes pride in our reputation for the highest standard of craftsmanship.
